As I have said before, I am an emotional eater and the only way I have found to manage my problem is every other day dieting or EODD for short. I don't say this with much pride. I only say it because it's true. I remember the year that I lost my job. The layoff came at the end of the summer. When I got my notice, I was 200 lb. which was still a lot for my six-foot frame. I became so discouraged with in a month of frustrating job searching that fighting my weight battles seemed impossible. When my weight ballooned to 215 lbs. I basically gave up and went on a free fall-or more correctly a weight rise. I stayed off the scales and ate way too much because it satisfied me and made me feel good in the moment. Of course, I would then feel guilty and horrible, both physically and mentally because I knew it wasn't eating right. My chubby belly fat ballooned way out of proportion.

Finally, just after Christmas I clambered back onto the scales. Gasp! I weighed 240 pounds. I had gained 40 lbs. in four months. It was enough to set my chubby belly fat all a quiver. I know, not a pretty sight. Worse yet, was the effects chubby belly fat posed for the rest of my body. Increased chance of heart disease, stroke, kidney and diabetes just to mention a few. I needed to find a weight loss plan that I could stick with, something that was doable over the long haul. That's what I came across the idea ofevery other day dieting.

Amazingly Simple Idea

Every other day dieting is quite simple. If you can maintain a diet for just one day, than you could stick with this plan for a lifetime. You simply go on a diet every other day, effectively reducing your overall calorie count by quite a bit. Every other day dieting will allow you to continue eating your comfort foods, help you fit in at social occasions while dieting, and eliminate your chubby belly fat or any fat for that matter from your body. If Not Easy Then Less Hard, At least

I implemented every other day dieting right away and began losing weight. I began running into a little bit of trouble because I wanted to cheat on my diet days. Then I found every other day dieting programs on the Internet. I even found one that had three different levels of weight loss and a quick start script diet that would allow me to lose up to 21 lbs. in 21 days. The great thing about this diet was that I only had to pay a one time fee and it gave me a lifetime of free updates. Much cheaper than Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig.

I would highly recommend every other day dieting for anyone else who is an emotional eater. Dieting is not fun but of all the diet plans every other day dieting is a concept that makes dieting doable.

I Want To Start Programming - Which Programming Language Should I Learn First?

There are many computer languages to choose from when you are looking to start programming. There are also many factors to take into account such as:

What do you want to program? Software? Games? Plugins? Scripts? Are you going to be programming online? How much money will you need to pay for the compiler, hardware, etc.?

Neuro Linguistic Programming Techniques

Neuro linguistic programming, or NLP for short, has a lot of techniques, many of which originated in hypnosis. Essentially, many neuro linguistic programming techniques involve modeling events and procedures. Once you have found out how someone reached a particular outcome, such as no longer being afraid of spiders, then you can model it. Once you've managed to make a model, you then try it out on people and amend it until you can apply the same techniques each and every time and get the same results.

One of the simplest NLP techniques to learn is called "anchoring". For instance, start by visualizing an event that made you happy. Go back to that event and make the image you hold in your mind brighter. Then make the sounds louder. Bring the image closer to you, so it's larger in your mind. Then intensify the feeling. If you've followed through this simple exercise whilst you were reading, you've probably got a broad grin on your face by now!

Whatever works for you. After that, each time you want to reach the same state of happiness, simply fire off the anchor!

Of course, there are many, many more neuro linguistic programming techniques that you can learn. Many of those techniques are rather more sophisticated than the one outlined above and will take a bit longer to learn. You can use NLP to help in your day to day life. And once you start learning to use NLP techniques, have some fun! Start to watch television with new eyes - work out what the advertisers are getting you to do. Advertisers apply neuro linguistic programming techniques all the time. They know these techniques work. Learn some of their tricks and develop your own protection system.

How To Program An Avaya Partner Phone

It is very easy to program an Avaya Partner phone, but only if you know how. First lets get to the basics. In order to program the phone you have to be at extension 10 or 11. That is where all of the programming must be done. A programming overlay is also placed over the phone to guide you through the programming functions.

A display phone is also needed for programming. Also take note that if you have a 34 button phone in your Avaya Partner phone system then you must use a 34 button phone for programming as an 18 button phone cannot be used to program a 34 button phone.

Programming

There are two types of programming in the Avaya Partner phone system: there is System Programming and Centralized Telephone Programming.

How To Program An Avaya Partner Phone

When using System Programming all of the phones in the system will be programmed for the feature that is being programmed. When using Centralized Telephone Programming an individual phone itself will only be programmed for that particular feature.

To access System Programming press the Feature button then the "0" button twice on your keypad, then hit your left intercom button twice. To access Centralized Telephone Programming press Feature 0 0, left intercom twice, then right intercom once. To exit programming press Feature 0 0.

Programming the date on the Avaya Partner Phone:

From extension 10 or 11 press Feature 0 0, press left intercom twice (this accesses programming, see above) then press #101. Enter the date in this format MMDDYY. Include zeros for months and days. When you are done press # to type type in another code or press Feature 0 0 to exit programming.

Programming the time on the Avaya Partner Phone:

From extension 10 or 11 press Feature 0 0, press left intercom twice (this accesses programming) then press #103. Enter the time in 24 hour notation using this format HHMM. For example, to make the time 2:15 pm, press 1415. When you are done press # to type type in another code or press Feature 0 0 to exit programming.

And that's basically it when it comes to programming the Avaya Partner phone system. Simply access the programming mode, then type in the 3 digit code(s) for the feature you want to program, then exit programming.

The Different Types of Programming Languages - Learn the Basics

The progression of computer programming languages was made possible by the programmer's search for efficient translation of human language into something that can be read and understood by computers. The languages generated, called machine code, have high levels of abstraction, which hide the computer hardware and make use of representations that are more convenient to programmers.

As programs evolve and become more sophisticated, programmers found out that certain types of computer languages are easier to support. As expected in a dynamic discipline, there is no standard for categorizing the languages used in programming. There are, in fact, dozens of categories. One of the most basic ways to categorize the languages is through a programming paradigm, which gives the programmer's view of code execution. Among the languages classifications according to programming paradigm are:

Programming

o Object-Oriented Programming Languages
Known as the newest and most powerful paradigms, object-oriented programming requires the designer to specify the data structures as well as the types of operations to be applied on those data structures. The pairing of data, and the operations that can be done on it is called an object. A program made using this language is therefore made up of a set of cooperating objects instead of an instructions list.

The most famous object-oriented programming these days are C#, C , Visual Basic, Java, and Python.

o Structured Programming Languages

An exceptional type of procedural programming, structured programming provides programmers with additional tools to handle the problems created by larger programs. When using this language, programmers are required to cut program structure into small pieces of code that can easily be understood. Instead of using global variables, it employs variables that are local to every subroutine. Among the popular features of structured programming is that it doesn't accept GOTO statement which is usually associated with the top-down approach. Such approach starts with an opening overview of the system with minimal details about the various parts. To add these details, design iterations are then included to complete the design.

Commonly used structured languages include C, Pascal, and ADA.

o Procedural Programming Languages

Procedural Programming involves a list of operations the program needs to complete to be able to attain the preferred state. It is a simple programming paradigm where every program comes with a starting phase, a list of tasks and operations, and an ending stage. Also called imperative programming, this approach comes with small sections of code that perform certain functions. These sections are made up of procedures, subroutines, or methods. A procedure is made up of a list of computations that should be done. Procedural programming lets a part of the code to be used again without the need to make several copies. It achieves this by dividing programmatic tasks into small sections. Because of this, programmers are also capable of maintaining and understanding program structure.

Among the known procedural languages are BASIC and FORTRAN.

These are the different types of computer programming languages that you can consider when planning to make a computer program. Procedural programming splits the program's source code into smaller fragments. Structured languages require more constraints in the flow and organization of programs. And object-oriented programs arrange codes and data structures into objects.
